2008 October 17 « escapism

It has been hectic at work with the countless emails, events and NXE. Boss keeps saying Q2 is a crazy period because of all the holidays so most marketing campaigns get pushed out during this period. So… we’re all trying to take it into our stride, grit our teeth and do a good job!

The *** event is coming again, but this time in KL / BKK / India. Its like a never ending nightmare!! No one really respond to their mail, no one bothers to hurry to get things done and the client breathes down our neck and throw every single thing to us. Plus its a constant struggle to get money! I just hope it will end and we can start on another account which has not much revenue but its exciting because we would get to plan for an entire 6 months campaign for a cause that I prefer – Helping developing countries. But well… cross fingers and hope that things turn out well. Its a pity such departments in the company don’t get much funding because they are not a revenue generating department.

NXE will be launching on 19th Nov! Exhilarating because its a TOTAL revamp! I hope the Xbox fans will like it because all of us loveeeee the new dashboard! Programming it is an additional workload right now, but hopefully things will get sorted out.

Though it is tiring it is extremely exciting as well! But well… hope all our efforts pay off!
